This Privacy Policy explains how TechTailor handles information when you use Ferial, a unified email and calendar workspace for connected accounts. Ferial is designed to help users review, organize, draft, and act on their own mail and calendar information.
Information Ferial accesses
When you connect an account, Ferial may access account information needed to provide the app workflow, including your email address, profile information, messages, folders or labels, calendar events, contacts, and authentication tokens. The exact data depends on the account type and the permissions you approve.
Google user data
If you connect a Google account, Ferial uses Google user data only to provide user-facing email, calendar, account, and workflow features that you choose to use. That may include reading message metadata and content, displaying or organizing mail, drafting or sending messages at your direction, and supporting related assistant workflows inside the app.
Ferial does not sell Google user data. Ferial does not use Google user data for advertising. Ferial does not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve the app’s user-facing features, comply with law, protect users, or with your explicit direction.
How information is used
- To authenticate connected accounts and maintain user-authorized access.
- To show inboxes, folders, labels, messages, calendars, and account settings in the app.
- To perform actions you request, such as drafting, sending, replying, moving, labeling, or deleting messages.
- To support assistant features such as summarization, triage, drafting, meeting preparation, and action extraction.
- To improve reliability, troubleshoot errors, and protect the application from misuse.
Storage and security
Ferial is built around local-first and user-controlled workflows. Authentication tokens and account configuration are stored using the available platform storage or vault approach for the deployment. Access to mail and calendar data is limited to the features the user enables and the permissions granted by the connected account provider.
AI-assisted features
If you enable AI features, selected email or calendar content may be sent to the configured AI provider to complete the action you requested, such as summarizing a thread or drafting a reply. Use of those providers may be governed by their own terms and privacy practices. Ferial does not use connected account data for advertising.
User control
You can disconnect accounts, revoke OAuth access through the account provider, or stop using Ferial at any time. You can also request help by contacting TechTailor through the public contact page.
